October is ADHD Awareness Month 🙂
As parents and children are transitioning back into fall schedules and routines, sometimes this comes with the challenges of meeting children’s needs.
Although there has been an improvement in ADHD awareness and strategies to support, sometimes there can be missed signs or indirect communication that suggests additional support is needed.
ADHD is all-encompassing; it affects all areas of life. For children and adolescents, school can be a difficult time to navigate and lead to avoidance of attendance or inability to conform to the “typical” ways of learning.
Helping our children or our students in the classroom environment enhances their confidence, decision-making skills, and emotional responses.
