Hi I’m Leeann.

I am a Registered Social Worker through the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.

I carry a BISW through the First Nations University of Canada and a MSW through the University of Victoria.

I was born and raised in Saskatoon on the traditional lands of the treaty 6 territory and Metis homelands.

For the past seven years I have lived on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dun and Ta’an Kwach’an in Whitehorse, Yukon.

I am a grandmother, mother, wife, aunty, sister, daughter, and granddaughter.

I have 20 years experience in working with children, youth, and adults in all different walks of life. I have been fortunate to spend time learning from others through traditional teachings, direct working relationships, client work and educational settings. I value working with people from a place of where they are at and support and encourage them in where they would like to go next.

In my time with clients, I come from a place of practice that involves strength based, client centred work. Some of the intervention techniques that I use include motivational interviewing and talk, brief and solution focused counselling and response-based work.

In addition to Counselling, I also offer assistance with Workplace Issues including:

• Difficult work relationships (Manager-Employee, Difficult coworkers & peer relationships)
• Ethical dilemmas in the work place
• Performance Management
• Leadership skills

I also have experience and involvement in the child welfare system.
