
Managing Anxiety – Deep Breathing Exercise
When anxiety strikes, one of the most powerful tools you have is your breath.
Try this simple breathing technique:
- Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 4.
- Hold your breath for a count of four.
- Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 6.
- Repeat for a few minutes until you feel your body start to relax.
It’s a quick, easy way to calm your nervous system and regain control in stressful moments. Give it a try whenever anxiety feels overwhelming.
