
Managing Anxiety – Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)
Tap away your anxiety. Tapping is a technique where you use your fingertips to tap on specific acupressure points on your body while focusing on your anxious thoughts. Here’s how:
- Start by identifying an anxious thought or feeling.
- Gently tap on the following points: top of your head, between your eyebrows, the side of your eye, under your eye, under your nose, chin, collarbone, and under your arm.
- While tapping each point, repeat a calming phrase like, “Even though I feel anxious, I accept myself.”
This combination of tapping and affirming helps disrupt anxious energy in the body, bringing relief.
