Insurance / Extended Benefits Coverage

Just like coverage for dental services, prescriptions, massage therapy & chiropractic services…if you have insurance or extended benefits through your employer, you will likely have coverage for Counselling as well. (Sometimes it’s referred to as Psychotherapy).  For example, through Blue Cross, Great West Life, Sun Life, Greenshields, etc.

Please Note:  Each Insurance company has specific requirements for Counselling.

Each Insurance Provider has specific requirements. 
Please check your coverage and book with a Counsellor who meets your requirements
to ensure that you will be reimbursed.

Some insurance companies will only cover sessions with a
Registered Social Worker, A Registered Psychologist, or a Registered Counsellor.

Once you know what your requirements are
choose either a Registered Social Worker,  a Registered Psychologist or a Registered Counsellor
and book your In Person, Video or Phone Session.

If you are uncertain about your insurance / extended benefits coverage,
please inquire with your Insurance provider
or your Employer for the details of your coverage.

 

City of Saskatoon Employee & Family Members

If you are a City of Saskatoon employee or family member, the cost of your counselling sessions is covered for you.
Please choose ‘City of Saskatoon Employee & Family Assistance Program’ and then book your appointment.

 

 

 

Employee & Family Assistance Programs (EFAP) 

If your employer has an Employee & Family Assistance Program with us, the cost of your counselling sessions will be covered for you by your employer.  Please choose ‘EFAP with Penney Murphy & Associates’ and then book your appointment noting where you work.

IF YOU’RE A NEW CLIENT…Welcome!

Please choose the NEW CLIENT option in which ever category meets your needs.  And then choose an In Person, Video or Phone Session.  

If you a New Client with Insurance or Extended Benefits coverage, please be sure to book with a Counsellor whose credentials meet your insurer’s requirements (for example a Registered Social Worker, Psychologist or Registered Counsellor) to ensure you will be reimbursed by your insurer.

If you are a New Client booking for a Child please note the first session will be a Parent(s) or Caregiver Only session

IF YOU’RE A RETURNING CLIENT – Welcome Back!  

Thanks for the opportunity to work with you again. 

Simply select an In Person, Video or Phone Session and the Counsellor you’d like to work with.  

Feel free to add any additional information in the Notes section that you feel may be helpful for your work with your Counsellor.

 

BOOKING FOR A CHILD 12 years of age or younger. 
Please note, when booking an appointment for a child 12 yrs of age or younger…the 1st session will be a Parent(s)/Caregiver ONLY session to ensure the most positive outcome for your child.  

A signed parental consent form is required for all children under the age of 16 years. 

For Joint Custody, both parents are required to sign the parental consent form before our Counsellors can work with your child.  

 

BOOKING FOR A YOUTH 13 yrs – 18 yrs
When booking an appointment for a youth 13 years – 18 years of age, parents are welcome to attend.  

A signed parental consent form is required for all children under the age of 16 years.  For Joint Custody, both parents are required to sign the parental consent form before our Counsellors can work with your child.
